The Turkish Education Association - TED

As the first non-governmental organization in education sector in Turkey, the Turkish Education Association was established with the name “Turkish Education Society” on 31 January 1928. While the war was continuing, our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk held the Education Council where he was developing the educational roadmap of the Republic. This roadmap included the development of education with the help of the society.
 
A distinguished non-governmental organization, the Turkish Education Association has a modern and progressive vision, and its mission is to:
Establish schools that provide education in Turkish and foreign languages and open dormitories for students’ accommodation.
  • Establish schools and raise highly qualified students.
  • Provide successful students with the opportunity to continue their education by granting scholarships throughout the country.
  • Create scientific platforms in order to increase educational standards.
  • Raise public awareness on the problems and solutions of the education system through research projects.
  • Contribute to Turkish education policies.
 

CGU at the International Education Fairs of Turkey 2025 (IEFT)

CGU - Consortium of German Universities is excited to participate in the International Education Fairs of Turkey (IEFT) 2025, taking place from 16–19 October in Istanbul.
 
About IEFT:
The IEFT Fairs are among the largest international education events in the region, bringing together universities, students, and education professionals from around the world. It’s a great opportunity for students to explore study options abroad, meet university representatives, and learn about scholarships and academic opportunities.
 
About CGU:
The Consortium of German Universities (CGU) represents a group of leading German higher education institutions offering a wide range of English-taught international study programs. Our members provide outstanding academic quality, strong industry connections, and a vibrant international campus life.
